Two hundred and thirty-five years ago a group of men came together at a particular time and in a particular place; men who would change the course of human history. They would establish a nation, the likes of which had never before been known on the earth, or imagined in the minds of men. It would be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. It would preserve and promote freedom and liberty through a system of equal justice under law which would provide every person equal treatment. Furthermore, it would place the ultimate power, not in the government, but in the hands of the people.

We call these men our founding fathers and the nation they founded the United States of America. They have been described as “enlightened geniuses touched by divine intervention.” I cannot imagine a better description, and I am convinced that only God could have brought together such men, at such a time, in such a place, and with such a purpose. The purpose was God’s, and the men were His instruments for accomplishing it.

Yes, the world calls it the United States of America but, by the grace of God, we call it home.

The Elite vs The People

The elite can best be described as the entrenched power structure embedded in our nation’s capital. They are composed of the President, members of Congress, both Republican and Democrat, along with the numerous bureaucracies they have created. Our founders were about liberty, the elite are about power. It is in their vested interest that they promote, and get elected, individuals of their own choosing. We have seen this manifested in the elections of 2010.

In the case of Delaware, the candidate chosen by the people was Christine O’Donnell. She defeated the elite’s candidate, Michael Castle, in the 2010 Republican primary. Within an hour of her being declared the winner, the chairman of the Republican National Senatorial Committee announced that they would not support Christine O’Donnell’s candidacy. The result was the reelection of Democrat Chris Coons, one of the entrenched elites.

Another example is the Alaska Republican Primary where the people’s candidate, Joe Miller soundly defeated the elite’s incumbent, Lisa Murkowski. When she announced that she would wage a write-in challenge to Joe Miller, she immediately gained the support of the Washington Establishment, with even Democrats crossing over to defeat Joe Miller and reelect the candidate of their choosing. Other examples could be cited but these two are sufficient to make the point.

Any monies sent to The Republican National Committee will be used solely to support those candidates of their choosing. If they disapprove of the people choice, money will be withheld from that candidate and used to support candidates of the elite. This being the proven case, any monies not sent directly to a candidate, which are limited by law, should be sent to a PAC which can received unlimited funds. A conservative PAC dedicated to the support of the “People’s Candidates” has been established which is deserving of the support of every patriotic American who wants to see candidates elected who will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in life and never stopped.

At 5, began studying under his cousin’s tutor.

At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French.

At 14, studied classical literature and additional languages.

At 16, entered the College of William and Mary.

At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe.

At 23, started his own law practice.

At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.

At 31, wrote the widely circulated “Summary View of the Rights of British America ” and retired from his law practice.

At 32, was a Delegate to the Second Continental Congress.

At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence .

At 33, took three years to revise Virginia ’s legal code and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom.

At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia succeeding Patrick Henry.

At 40, served in Congress for two years.

At 41, was the American minister to France and negotiated commercial treaties with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.

At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under George Washington.

At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American Philosophical Society.

At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and became the active head of Republican Party.

At 57, was elected the third president of the United States .

At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the nation’s size.

At 61, was elected to a second term as President.

At 65, retired to Monticello .

At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.

At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first president.

At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future:
